After a year in Spain, Oswaldo Alanís has officially made his way back to Chivas.
On Wednesday evening, Chivas announced the return of the 30-year-old shortly after Real Oviedo revealed that Alanís and the club had come to a mutual agreement to terminate his current deal, which was set to run until next summer.
“Real Oviedo thank Oswaldo Alanís for his dedication and professionalism during the time he defended our shirt. We wish him good luck in his new future,” the club wrote in a brief statement.
The 23-time Mexican international featured 24 times for Real Oviedo last season. The centre-back previously spent three years with Chivas after arriving from Santos Laguna in 2015 in a $5m deal.
