It was already known that Raúl Guñido, Hiram Mier, Alexis Vega, and Isaac Brizuela would not train with their Chivas team-mates because they were called in by Mexico boss Tata Martino to attend their four-day training camp.

In addition, Saturnino Cardozo could not count on Alex Mayorga, Alan Mayorga, Alan Cervantes, Fernando Beltrán, and Ronaldo Cisneros as they are preparing with the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima 2019 with the U-22s.
