After defeating Chivas 2-0 in Wednesday night’s Copa MX quarter-final, Club América boss Miguel Herrera extended his dominant record in El Súper Clásico.

In eight career matches against América’s hated rivals, Piojo has an incredible record of five wins, two draws, and a single loss.

Prior to Herrera’s stints with El Tri and Xolos, Herrera won three out of four Súper Clásicos, with his only career defeat against Chivas coming in a 3-1 home loss in the 2012 Apertura.

Since then, Herrera has been their worst nightmare, winning four games and drawing two.

On the flip side, José Cardozo has only been in two Súper Clásicos to date, drawing once and losing on Wednesday.
